Hello friends.
I created a new Facebook page named "Life through Palestinian Eyes" to get more exposure, feedback, and advice on how to level up with my photography.
I do appreciate your support so if you happen to like what I do like my page and I promise I won't spam your news feed with millions of photos.. Just two or three maybe ;)
Feel free to like, comment, share if you please.

Love XD

In response to *EyeDoorCinema's "historical facts and hatred", I said:

"Thank you for the "beautiful" feedback that you left on my profile. I was expecting such attention from you after the few comments I left on some of your beautiful photography, however that wasn't the content I expected to see.

Thank you for the hatred you spewed against me even though I didn't initiate any attack against you in specific. You called Palestinians a lie and terrorists, but I can guarantee you that I'm 100% real and more human than you are.

Believe me I'm not used on checking other deviant's profiles to learn their origins before I comment on their photography. Excuse my lack of prejudice and better judgment.

I can only say after reading your hateful comments you proved me what being a Zionist means. Thank you for being your true self. And on a personal note, there was no need for the ban, because I wasn't planning on unleashing attack the way you did against me."

Regards,

A Real Palestinian in the Land of Free Palestine

One question remains, Should I not comment or interact with Israelis because I am Palestinian? I always thought art should overcome all political differences, but obviously some out there refuse even a nice word from me because I happen to be Palestinian and believe in my right to exist and fight injustice. Please if you are Israeli answer my simple question so I would know what to do next time I find myself in such situation.

Thank you

Thousands of users on Facebook changed their profile picture in the last couple of days as a sign of support to the 2500 Palestinian prisoners which are going through a hunger strike for over two months. The Picture shows either a Male or a female wearing the prison suit that the Israeli authorities oblige the Palestinians to wear and a cover on the eyes.

At the same time many other users are calling and holding campaigns to bring people into the Nakba memorial day ceremonies that will be held tomorrow to mark the passing of 64 years after the Israeli occupation of the Palestinians lands. Several central activities will be held in the Palestinian lands and around the world to support the Palestinian prisoners hunger strike and to remember the Nakba.

Israeli authorities still refuse to respond to the Palestinian prisoners demands which are related to the isolation of the prisoners and the political administrative imprisonment of Palestinians without any charge. Several countries called Israel to respond to the Palestinian prisoners demands and the Palestinian street is responding with an ascending movement to support one of the most sensitive cases: the Palestinian prisoners.

Hola friends;

So as the title reads, the Palestine Photo Marathon was held for the first time in the two beautiful cities of Ramallah and Jerusalem in Palestine on May 1st. The marathon consisted of two main events; the 6 hour marathon and the 12 hour marathon. We, the 39 participants, were given 6 themes (for the 6 hour) or 12 themes (for the 12 hour) and were asked to interpret these themes and come up with expressive photos. It wasn't easy. I only had 6 hours, since I signed up for the 6 hour marathon, to take 6 pictures that most represent the themes. However, it was fun. I met new people and had a blast wandering the streets of Ramallah doing what I like the most; photography.

The photos were uploaded to the marathon's page on Facebook and the jury is currently studying every peace to name the three winners of each category. I'm really excited and I can't wait to learn the results!

Now Here are my photos. Please I would love to hear what you think about each one if you have enough time to leave a comment. ENJOY

The first theme:

1- عنجد زاكي (So delicious)

2- فوضى (Chaos)

3- صورة شخصية (Self-portrait)

4- بنت الحارة (Homie Girl)

5- من فوق (From above)

6- أنا أريد (I want)

The photos above were a little bit edited because no post processing was allowed during the competition.

Here is the link to the Palestine Photo Marathon page and other participants' photos. Like and Share if you are on Facebook ;)
